Motion Detection Basic Info
Motion detection is a way of defining activity in a scene by analyzing image data and differences in a series of images. The functionality be built-in into a network video product.
A multi-zone motion sensor allows you to define areas of a screen where you want to detect any visual changes.
The camera refers to motion detection as an “alarm”. You can select what you want the camera to do once the motion is detected. The factory default setting for motion detection is a single motion detection window covering the entire visible area.
The“Motion Detection”menu allows you to designate up to four separate windows with individually adjustable sensitivity to ensure you don’t miss a thing when it comes to capturing important events or action.
After selecting“Motion detection” from the main settings screen, you may need to expand the size of the display window towards the right to see the four controls for individual motion detection windows. Each window can have individually adjustable sensitivity and threshold.
