Camera cutting out

Q:

my spy camera is cutting out after 30 seconds of being plugged in a outlet.

As soon as power is plugged in the green light goes on and 30 seconds later, the camera clicks and the power goes off.

    Thank you for contacting us. Recording the cutting out problem, Are you still able to view the live footage on Anyscene app when the green light goes off? If yes, please see following case. if not, please contact us again.

    If you can view the live footage even though the green light goes off, the issue may be caused by the wrong setting — The indicated LED was disabled on the side of Anyscene app. Please go to Anyscene app –> Advanced Setting–>Device Misc–>Check if the “Power Indicator LED” is turned off or not.

    By the way, we would like to let you know that the indicated LED will light 20 seconds and go out 10 seconds and re-light while the camera is booting up. But if you disable the “Power Indicator LED” option on Anyscene app, the LED will turn off after the camera complete the start.

    • @Titathink Support Team: I am not able to anything.
      The camera does not have time to connect to the internet before it turns off. I see that the camera goes to green on the app while it is trying to connect but it does not have time to go to the blue connected indicator on the app. This is my second camera. I purchased the first camera a year ago and I use it in the same house. I was so impressed with the first camera, I decided to add this second camera.
      I just cant get it to keep powered up.

    Thank you so much for getting back to us. We would like to suggest you to check the more details first.

    1. Could you please use the power adapter of the first camera to power the second one? This is for analyzing whether the problem is caused by the power adapter or not.
    2. As you said, the camera has never been “Connected” or “Online”, so we would like to suggest you to do a reset for the camera first. When camera has connected to a good power adapter, please press the reset button and hold on 10 seconds at least, then release it and wait for 20 seconds. In the meantime, please pay attention to the power indicated light, in normal situation, the power indicated light should be lighted 10 seconds and off 10 seconds and then flashing after reset is done. Then you can try to see it on the app.

    If the above ways is useless, please send the order number of the second camera to support@titathink.com. We’ll check it and provide the correct solution for you.

  3. The other power adapter made no difference. But if I move the body of the new camera and replace the old camera configuration the camera then works. Do you think it could be the Camera causing the problem? When I first got the new camera I accidently plugged the camera in the Ethernet port. I wonder if I damaged the camera? The camera cord is installed in a complex configuration with many corners and brackets holding the cord. The twisting and installation could be another issue?

    Either way, I am pretty sure that the camera is the problem. What do you think?

    Thank you so much for trying. Depending on your feedback, we also think the camera unit was damaged. It could be short-circuit, so when it was plugged into the main unit, the main unit was also short-circuit, so it shuted down itself in order to protect the circuit board. So you saw the light went off.
