  1. Hi Joe,

Thank you for contacting us. My name is Taylor, I’m glad to assist you.
Regarding the question, it seems you want to use a third-party software to capture and save the images stream.
So I would like to let you know that the http://192.168.1.20/live0/mjpeg.jpg is belong to images stream, its images will be changed per seconds. In other words, the images outputs by this URL is not a still image, it will refresh every second. So you need to ensure if the third-party software is able to capture the dynamic images or not.

You can enter the URL http://192.168.1.20/live0/mjpeg.jpg to a browser, you will see the image is dynamic, so if your software is only able to save a still image, with this URL, it may be unable to save a correct image.

Based on this issue, I will suggest you use http://192.168.1.20/live0/jpeg.jpg instead. This URL can outputs still image.

Should you have further question or if you found the answer is not helpful, please feel free to contact us.

    Best regards,
    Taylor
